*Up for sale here is a hutchinson soda bottle, from the Allegheny County river town of Natrona, Pennsylvania. This very scarce to rare greenish aqua glass example is in mint condition, and is as nice as they come. Bottle has seen no wear, and the glass is sparkling clean. Never been tumbled, and looks like it was never in the ground. Bottle should date from the late 1890's to about 1905. There are no chips, pings or dings. The clarity of the glass is amazing. See pictures.
*It is boldly embossed in a larger circular slug plate, as it reads ~ "EDW. / WELSH / BOTTLER / NATRONA, PA." Below this it reads ~ "Registered". The base is double stamped with the number "2". On the lower back side it is boldly embossed ~ "This Bottle / Not To Be Sold". This handsome example measures 6 1/2 inches tall, and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this vintage piece of soda pop bottling history, from the state of Pennsylvania. This may well be a top example for this bottle.
