The addition of PTFE gives a significant increase in performance and durability over the use of plain paraffin wax when used as a hot chain waxing additive.  Especially good for high performance in tough conditions, waxing protects against dust, mud, water and corrosion while saving watts of power. Wax protection lasts hundreds of miles and weeks of use.  It also eliminates the chances of dirty grease rubbing off on your clothes and hands.  On the road or on the trail, commuting or In competition, waxing with this PTFE additive saves in the long term both in wear and energy.  15g recloseable hard container.  Because it is Ultra Fine, you only need to mix 5g with 1lb of paraffin wax for a very high performance mix. One pound of wax is enough to treat appximately 14 race chains or 7 training chains (because they are usually dirtier).  So one container of PTFE will treat from 20 to 40 chains, depending on how dirty they are. You can also add 1 - 2oz pure paraffin lamp oil to each pound of parrafin for better penetration into tight spaces on your chain.  Storage and shipping in a hard container reduces caking and makes it easier to add to your wax.  Also shaking the container on it's side breaks up any clumps.  A brush is included to help break down the PTFE as it is added to the wax.  The brush can also be used to apply PTFE directly to your chain.  This Ultra Fine 2 - 3 micrpn virgin PTFE is manufactured by Dupont in the USA to the highest standards.
