VINTAGE AUTHENTIC NAVAJO WEDDING BASKET
Round coiled brown & beige design
14" diameter, approx 1.5" deep
Handcrafted by Navajo
Piece was purchased at estate sale, with basic info that it was originally purchased on a trip from a Native American shop (sometime in the 1970's) and indicated to be handcrafted by Navajo tribe members.  There is no official documentation related to this, only word of mouth.  I researched designs and quality and it is very similar to other handcrafted items made by Navajo during this time period.

Condition:
VERY GOOD
- No unraveling.  A few signs of light wear (see photos), but nothing significant.  Has likely been used for display/decor only due to lack of wear.  High quality weaving.

FYI - I use recycled shipping materials, including boxes, envelopes and internal packaging.  Don't be surprised if you find newspaper, plastic/paper grocery bags or old styrofoam.  This helps keep my cost down, which means better pricing for you!  Plus, I keep items (especially plastic) out of the landfill.
